Coming to Valsavarenche, you join a wild and untouched valley...also by services.
To get to Bien there's a bus leaving from Aosta(in front of train station, tel.+39/0165/262027) with three daily journey. Timetable is avalaible on the web site of the SAVDA, the society leading the service. The journey lasts around 1 hour (50 minutes for and from Bien).
Once in the valley there's a post office but and an automated banking but there isn't a pharmacy, the nearest one is in Villeneuve (20 km), and the traditional herb based medicine doesn't convince all our guests! Be sure you have everything you need before leaving the civilization!
In the main village you can find a tobacconist and a grocer's shop. They cannot supply with a wide panorama of products, over all on the "fresh" side. You can find bread, cheese, pork meats and tins, but if you want something more particular, you are better to search it down in Villeneuve.
